Cramer Hall, NEH Summer Institute Meeting Venue
SW Broadway & SW Montgomery St; three blocks north of Broadway Hall accommodations

Our meeting room for each session will be room 225 in Cramer Hall, located a short walk from the accommodations at Broadway Hall. Except for covered water bottles, no food or drink is allowed in the meeting room. We will have bottles of water available at our daily sessions.

For the first day, we’ll all meet outside Cramer Hall before 9 am to enter, since participants will not yet have access to the locked buildings.

ID Badges are required for access to certain buildings on campus. Participants will need to pick up their badges at Fariborz Maseeh Hall Student Lounge, one block south of Cramer Hall. Angela will lead anyone who would like to go to Fariborz Maseeh Hall after our first meeting.

Portland State University Millar Library

The six-floor Branford Price Millar Library houses over 1.4 million volumes, 640 print subscriptions, 97,065 accessible electronic books, 2,592,288 microforms, 69,762 maps, and 133,978 audio-visual materials.

The library's convex wall of glass facing the campus' park blocks was added in 1989 to surround and preserve a large copper beech tree planted in 1890, seen reflected in this photo.
