Angela M. Coventry,
Professor of Philosophy, Portland State University
Professor Coventry is the author of Hume's Theory of Causation: A Quasi-Realist Interpretation (Bloomsbury, 2006) and of Hume: A Guide for the Perplexed (Bloomsbury, 2007). She co-edited David Hume: Morals, Politics and Society, with Andrew Valls (Yale University Press, 2018), and The Humean Mind, with Alex Sager (Routledge, 2019). Professor Coventry also co-wrote The Historical Dictionary of Hume’s Philosophy, with Kenneth Merrill (Rowman and Littlefield, 2018). She has served as the Vice President and Executive Secretary-Treasurer of The Hume Society, and as co-editor of Hume Studies, with Peter Kail.

Elizabeth S. Radcliffe,
Professor of Philosophy Emerita,

Professor Radcliffe is the author of Hume on the Nature of Morality (Cambridge University Press, 2022) in the Cambridge Elements series; author of Hume, Passion, and Action (Oxford University Press, 2018); editor of A Companion to Hume (Blackwell, 2008); and author of many journal articles and chapters in collections. She currently serves as co-editor of Hume Studies, with Mark Spencer, and was previously co-editor with Kenneth Winkler from 2000 to 2005. Professor Radcliffe has been the recipient of two NEH Research Fellowships. She has also served as Executive Director of the American Philosophical Association, and as Chair of the Philosophy Departments at Santa Clara University and at William & Mary.
